Dr. Jai Chandra Pegu who is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the department of Anthropology at Silapathar Science College, Silapathar, Dhemaji, Assam is a graduate from DHSK College (D.U). He Completed his Masters in Anthropology from Dibrugarh University with Advanced Physical Anthropology as specialized subject. He did his Ph.D. research on "Anthropometric Assessment of Physical Growth and Nutritional Status of the School Going Children of West Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh
